servant (PPNS) Directorate General of Intellectual Property with replica tag heuer watches BSA
(Business Software Association) and the Indonesian Police held a raid of
software Copyright Infringement in two places in Jakarta that is
Ambasador Mall and Ratu Plaza Mall on April 5, 2012.This action was
carried out based on a report from BSA (Business Software Association)
on February 10, 2012 to the office of the Directorate General of
Intellectual Property. These pirated 10,000 software CDs were
seized in the two malls. Price range of the pirated CD is at 5% of the
original, Rp. 50-60.000 while the original around Rp. 1.000.000 per
software. This raid will be conducted regularly in random places
throughout Indonesia with the hope that the retainer may give
instruction to the retainee not to sell the pirated software. (source:
DGIP) Focus Group Discussion Lisbon Agreement, April 11-13 Focus
Group Discussion (FGD) Lisbon Agreement is held by Directorate General
of IPR on April 11-13, 2012. This activity is aimed to discuss the
Lisbon Agreement a.o. is the necessary steps to ratify the Lisbon
Agreement and Geographical Indications protection system in Indonesia. The Lisbon Agreement was established in Stockholm on July 14, 1967 organized by the International Bureau at WIPO, Geneva. As 2011, there are 27 states as the members, and 823 products registered as Geographical Indications. Indonesia currently has 10 products that have earned the Certificate of Geographical Indications in Indonesia (Please see details in our website www.iprbor.com). The function of this Lisbon Agreement is to facilitate the registration of Geographical Indication of products that have been recognized in the member country of the Lisbon Agreement and to facilitate the protection of Geographical Indications products from the use of Geographical Indication marks by unauthorized parties in the member states Lisbon Agreement. April 19, 2012 the Minister of Law and Human Rights Dr. Amir
Syamsuddin, S.H., M.H., inaugurate the replica rolex launch of Arbitration and
Mediation Body for IPR in Harris Hotel, Jakarta. The Arbitration and
Mediation Body for IPR was formed in April 21, 2011. The purpose of
forming this body is to optimize available supporting facilities for
improvement in the dispute settlement of IPR related matters. The
members comprises from different backgrounds such as former judges,
lecturers, IP consultants, and former IP examiner in the Directorate
General of IPR. (Please see the details in our website www.iprbor.com). Intellectual Property awards during the 12th IP World Day In
commemorating the 12th World IP Day, on May 8, 2012 the Directorate
General of IPR of Ministry Law and Human Rights give national awards to a
number of Inventor and Creator who contributed in the field of
Intellectual Property Rights in Indonesia. The award was presented by
Indonesia Vice President Dr. Boediono and witnessed by a number of
ministers of Indonesia United Cabinet II. This national award reflects
an appreciation to the Incredible Masterpiece of National Persons (Maha

President Dr. Boediono said the recipient of the IPR is to acknowledge
the level of creativity that stimulates economic growth. This is
important for Indonesia as the member of the G-20 economy that has over
USD 1 Trillion GDP. (source DGIP) The rotation of Director in the Directorate General of IPR On
June 22, 2012, the Ministry of Law and Human Rights has inaugurated the
new Directors in the Directorate General of IPR, as follows:
(source DGIP) Commemoration the 61st year of BIRO OKTROI ROOSSENO Grants to Researchers Under
the auspices of Indonesian Academy of Sciences (AIPI), Biro Oktroi
Rooseno (BOR) awarded 6 (six) researchers who are selected by the
Committee chaired by [Prof.Dr.Ir. Satryo Soemantry Brodjonegoro] as
the winner, and their research are funded accordingly by BOR. The theme
is in the humanity and social science with 161 participants from
nationwide research centres and universities. This event was held
at the Oktroi Plaza, 7th floor, Jakarta, and to celebrate the 61st year
of Biro Oktroi Roosseno that was established on June 22nd, 1951. In
addition to awarding the six winner of 2012, this occasion, the five
winners of 2011 at the 60th year of BOR presented their research
progress where one researcher has published his findings in the academic
journal in the field of sciences and technology. (Details are
